New to Harvest?
If you are looking for a place to worship, we invite you to join us at one of our Sunday services. We meet at Hoffman Estates High School. Our Sunday service starts at 10:00 AM, and our dress code and atmosphere are casual. We enjoy vibrant contemporary praise music and are committed to teaching and preaching that is faithful to the Bible but relevant and engaging.
If you have visited us before and feel like you’d like to take another step, we highly recommend that you get connected with one of our community groups (a.k.a. small groups). Our community groups generally meet in people’s homes on weeknights and provide a smaller setting where you can start to form meaningful relationships with others. You can contact Frank, our Pastor of Community Groups, at pastorfrank@harvest-community.org or 847-884-9687, and he’d be happy to connect you with a community group in your area.
We try to host a Newcomer’s Luncheon every quarter. These events take place in someone’s home. Lunch is served and newcomers are invited to get to know some of our leaders and hear more about the church in a very informal setting. We begin announcing these luncheons several weeks in advance so make sure you pay attention to the announcements for the next event.
The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:18 that God arranges the members of a church according to His purposes. If God leads you to call Harvest home, we believe that your experience will be fullest when you get involved in joining us in our mission by serving God and others according to your gifts, passions, and convictions. There are always new opportunities to get involved. We encourage you to be proactive in scanning our "announcements" and take the initiative.
